Returns, exchanges & refunds

We want you to be completely happy with your new piece of Atelier Biru jewellery. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you can initiate a return or exchange within 14 days of receiving your purchase. After this period, we cannot accept returns.

How to request a return or exchange

To start a return or exchange, please send an email to info@ateliebiru.com with the following details: 

  • Your order number
  • The reason for your return
  • Whether you would like a refund or an exchange

Without this information, we cannot process your request.

Return conditions

For a return to be accepted, the item must be in its original condition. This means:

  • Unworn, unused, and undamaged.
  • No signs of wear or use.
  • Returned in its original packaging, including all accessories.

If the returned item is not in its original condition, any loss of value will be deducted from your refund. We may ask for a photo of the item before you send it back to us for a quick check.

Non-returnable Items

Please note that the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Custom-made or personalized products.
  • Items specially made in 14K upon request.
  • Products purchased during a sale or with a special promotion.

Exchanges and price differences

  • If you exchange an item for another of lower value, you will receive a store credit for the difference. This credit is valid for 12 months.
  • If you exchange an item for another of higher value, the price difference will be charged.

Shipping costs

You are responsible for the shipping costs of your return. These costs are non-refundable. This applies to the original shipping costs paid with your order, the shipping costs for returns, and the shipping costs for exchanges. If you are a non-EU customer and paid custom duties, VAT and import fees locally these are also your own responsibility. Atelier Biru is not responsible for any type of refund. Please be aware that customers located outside the EU may incur additional costs for returns or exchanges.

We recommend using a shipping service with a track and trace code as you are responsible for ensuring the item reaches us safely. We cannot be held responsible for lost packages during the return shipment.

Processing your return

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will send you an email to let you know it has been approved. Your refund or exchange will then be processed.

Please allow up to 14 business days for your refund to be issued or for your exchange to be shipped out.
