Atelier Biru was born from a lifelong love for creating. What began with me as a 10 year old spending afternoons stringing beads evolved into a passion for silversmithing and working with my hands. Over the years, I’ve explored and honed my craft through courses and workshops, finding my joy and focus at the jeweller’s bench — a place where time tends to slip away and my creativity flows.

For a long time, I made jewellery for the people I love, my inner circle of friends and family. Over time the dream of sharing my work with others and maybe earning an income from it grew bigger. Now, after more than a decade of dreaming and juggling work and life (like everybody), I’ve finally carved out the space to bring Atelier Biru to life.

My designs are minimalist, timeless, and made to last — created with intention in my small atelier in Rotterdam. In a world of disposable fast fashion and constant trends, I strongly believe there’s value in simplicity, longevity, and quality craftsmanship. Each piece reflects my personal aesthetic. My inspiration comes from the visual world I love most: graphic design, modern architecture, art and photography. I’m drawn to structure, negative space, contrast, and clarity — and those elements tend to find their way into my designs.

With Atelier Biru, I finally built a small business around the thing I love doing most.

Thank you for being part of my journey ❤︎
